Ohh this might be rather a long post- sorry in advance.

Addison: Boy. I always thought this was a girls name until I heard of a guy with this name. I've liked it as a boy's name ever since.
Ainsley: Definitely a girl. Its such a beautiful sounding name!
Alexis: Girl
Angel: Firstly I would say girl but after reading "Tess of the d'urbervilles" I absolutely love it as a boys name (Angel Clare). Although I would probably never use it as I imagine a boy would get teased- maybe?
Ashley: Girl
Avery: I really love this name. It's been growing on me, but I never could decide if I like it better as a boy or girl- so I just flipped a coin...girl
Bailey: Girl
Blair: Girl
Brett: Boy
Brynn: Girl
Camden: Boy, although I think it would be interesting on a girl too
Cameron: boy, I'm really not a fan of the use of this name for a girl
Campbell: Boy
Casey: Although I have only ever heard it used as a girls name- I like it as a boys
Cassidy: Oh, I can never decide on this one. I like it both ways.

Harper: Girl
Hayden: I love this as a boy's name.

Jamie: Ever since I was little I could never decide on this one, and I still can't. I absolutely love it both ways
Jayden: Boy
Jess: I love Jesse for a boy and Jess as a nickname, so I am going to say boy.
Jody: Girl
Jordan: Boy, although I think it is interesting as a girls name too
Kelley: Girl
Kelsey: Girl
Kendall: Girl
Kennedy: Girl
Lee: Boy
Leslie: Girl
Lindsey: Girl
London: Girl
Mackenzie: Girl
Madison: Girl
Marley: Girl
Mason: Boy
Morgan: Girl
Paris: Girl
Parker: Girl. I had only ever heard this as a boys name until a year or so ago when I heard of a little girl named Parker, I thought is was so unusual and beautiful.

Rowan: Boy
Ryan: Boy
Sage: Girl
Shane: Boy

Whitney: Girl

Will you be posting what you think also? I would love to see your opinion :)

Ohh and just on the topic of names- lately I have been helping out in the sunday school class at our church and last week we were teaching them about Abraham and Sarah and how they named their son Isaac which meant 'laughter'. The children thought it was wonderful that his name had a meaning so I told them all theirs had one too. They were so excited and interested that I promised to bring in a name book for them to look up there own names in next time. How gorgeous is that! I cannot wait to watch their faces as they find their name meanings. I am so excited I just had to share it with you :)

Larkin, thanks so much for comment I really enjoyed reading your thoughts! Camden is a place name in England and a famous seaside town in my state of Maine. I've heard it mostly used on boys but I've also met a lady whose granddaughter was named Camden Annabelle which I thought was adorable!

Mel, your story about the Sunday school class and names is so lovely! I bet you had so much fun with that! Did the kids enjoy hearing the meanings of their names? It's so neat to get others interested in the meaning of names! The Bible is so full of names and their meanings. God gave Adam and Eve their original names and so many other Biblical characters were given names based on what their futures would be! Our Savior is the best of all of these, His names are so important: Jesus 'God is salvation' and Emmanuel 'God with us'!

Mine:
Addison: Boy. I've only known girls with this name but I think it does sound rather handsome for a boy.
Ainsley: Yes, girl! My gram had a friend named Ainslie!
Alexis: I think Romanov and it just sounds royal & masculine to me.
Angel: I thought it was so strange his name was Angel Clare until I watched the 1998 film and the name really fit the character. A boy w/ this name would get teased.
Ashley: I hate this name for a girl, so I decided it's got to be a guys name now. On 'The Waltons' two older ladies refer to an old beau Ashley Longworth.
Avery: Either really.
Bailey: Girl
Blair: Boy
Brett: Boy
Brynn: Girl, so pretty and Welsh!
Camden: Boy usually, but see above about Camden Annabelle
Cameron: Totally boy!
Campbell: Boy
Casey: I had only heard it for a girl too until recently when I heard a friend had named their son Ian Casey and I really liked it!
Cassidy: This sounds very feminine to me because of the Cassi- part.
Channing: Boy
Cody: Boy, very masculine
Dakota: Boy, I really dislike this as a name
Devon: It's more boyish to me because of Devin but if you think Devonshire it does seem more girly and poetic!
Dylan: Boy
Emerson: I prefer boy because of the -son ending.
Finley: Boy, but I've been thinking it might be okay for girls
Flannery: Boy
Harper: dislike this name it's so popular for girls! If you think Harp it does seem feminine but the -er sound is so masculine
Hayden: Boy
Hilary: Boy, tired of this for girls. Hilary Knight was a handsome young man who drew the pictures for the Eloise books in the 1950's
Hunter: Boy definitely.
Jamie: Ever since I first liked a boy named Jaime at age 10 I've always preferred it for a boy. I like it best as a nickname for James or Jamison.
Jayden: Boy
Jess: Boy's nickname for Jesse.
Jody: Either really.
Jordan: Boy, dislike it in general
Kelley: Girl, but I once met a handsome man with this name & his wife was named Kit!
Kelsey: I guess girl
Kendall: Girl, recently started to like it.
Kennedy: Boy, just a surname to me
Lee: Boy
Leslie: I like it better for a boy and then as a surname.
Lindsey: Girl, but boy
London: Girl

Madison: Boy, it's so popular for a girl and the -son is so boyish
Marley: Boy
Mason: Boy
Morgan: Either way, I can never decide!
Paris: Boy because it's mythology but dislike.
Parker: Boy
Payton: Can't decide. Like it either way.
Phoenix: Boy, but dislike
Quinn: Either, it's pretty for a girl & cool for a boy.
Randy: Boy's nickname.
Reagan: Girl, I think Shakespeare (or is that Regan?)
Reese: Boy, but prefer Rhys
Riley: Boy, but prefer Reilly
Robin: Boy
Rowan: Boy
Ryan: Boy, kind of liking it again.
Sage: Totally Girl!
Shane: Boy
Sheridan: Girl, my eye doc's daughter is named this & she's so sweet! I love this because of her!
Sidney: Boy, think Lark Rise to Candleford
Skylar: Boy, I dislike this name because the nickname "Sky"
Storm: Boy, I knew a cute little boy with this name!
Taylor: Boy
Teagan: Your sister is named this? That's great! I've never known anyone who had this name! I like it besy for a girl.
Terry: Boy, only as a nickname.
Whitney: Girl

Because I help out in the Sunday School Class on every second week I have to wait until i'm next rostered on- so next Sunday I will be taking the name books in. But last Sunday they were asking "Did you bring the name books" when I told them they had to wait another week they were so sad...but it was gorgeous, I just can't wait until next Sunday!
