Adding & Changing Favorite Combos

I've been thinking a lot about my favorite combos and I've been wanting to add two more combos bringing each list up to 12 combos.

Girls First Names:

• Jane - I currently have Jane Sophia on my list but I've been loving Sophia as a first name lately and want to seperate it from Jane. So I'm looking for a new middle name for Jane. What do you think of Jane Margot, Jane Margaret, Jane Evelyn (or should I spell it EveLynn because that's how I pronounce it?)
• Sophia - I just love how beautiful Sophia is and want to give it a special place on my favorites list. What do you think of Sophia Lisette? Or maybe Sophia Margot, Sophia Evelyn or Sophia Isolde?
• Phoebe - I've always loved Phoebe and want it back on my favorite combos list. What do you think about Phoebe Isolde, Phoebe Evelyn or Phoebe Margot?

Here's names I'd like to use as middle names: Catherine, Evelyn (or is EveLynn better?), Isolde, Lisette, Margaret, Margot. Any other combo suggestions using first names above?


What about Evelyn? I love this name but I always pronounce it like eve-lin instead of the common ev-uh-lin. So I'm wondering if I was to use it should I spell it Evelyn and pronounce it how I want to or should I spell it Evelynn, EveLynn or Eve-Lynn?


Boys Combos:

• Jonathan Garrett - I've been loving both of these names and thought they sounded rather nice together. What do you think? Or do you think Jonathan Rhys and Garret Matthias / Matthias Garrett works better?
• Emmett Humphrey - I love Emmett as a first name lately. And I'm liking Humphrey more and more lately but think it works better as a middle name.
• Also what do you think of Ian Kenneth? Is it better than Jack Kenneth?

Welsh Boys Names

Again, I love Welsh names and Welsh boys names can be so strong and masculine and mystical sounding.

Here are some of my favorite Welsh boys names:

• Aled - I've loved this name since finding Welsh opera singer Aled Jones. Sometimes seeing someone with a name just makes the name stand out.
• Braith 
• Brynmor - reminds me of the name of a castle or town.
• Celyn - I found this name around Christmas time because it means "holly" and I rather liked it.
• Colwyn - I like Cole and Coleman but they are so popular! This also reminds me of my favorite Colin.
• Dylan - so popular but it's also strong and handsome.
• Einion - I really love the sound of this name, it reminds me of Ian, Ewan and Ioan. It means "anvil".
• Ellis - I used to think this was so much of an older name but I really like this and Elias now. 
• Emlyn 
• Emrys - this is a form of Ambrose and I love the handsome sound!
• Gareth - this is such a strong and handsome name but it means "gentleness". Also a name from Arthurian legend.
• Gawain - I've always liked the look of this name but I didn't like that I thought it was pronounced guh-wayn. But I really started to like it once I found out it was really pronounced gohw-an. 
• Griffin / Griffith / Gruffudd - One of my all time favorite Welsh names. I like this name mostly because I really like actor Ioan Gruffudd and admire that he uses his original Welsh name even though it's a bit hard to pronounce.
• Gwillym "Gwil" - I love William so this Welsh version is also on my favorites list. And I love the nickname Gwil!
• Huw - I've really been starting to like the name Hugh over the last year or so. This Welsh version is really simple and it's also the name of another of my favorite Christian Welsh singers Huw Priday! 
• Ioan - again, Ioan Gruffudd is one of my favorite actors and I love the sound of this name. I like other forms of John like Ian, Ewan, Owen and Sean and I love this too!
• Llewellyn - I like this name in theory and this is my favorite spelling with the four Ls. But I know it wouldn't work very well in the USA. Also I'm not crazy about the nickname "Llew".
• Meirion / Merrion - I love the sound of this name! I just found this recently and it's great!
• Morgan - As much as I love this name for girls I also like it for boys too. I knew a little boy with this name too and it was really cute on him!
• Mostyn - I first heard this as a surname but I rather liked it as a first name too.  
• Owain / Owen - This is probably my favorite Welsh boys name! I just love it! 
• Price / Pryce 
• Reece / Rhys - I really like this name and especially the Rhys spelling. It makes a great middle name!
• Roderick - I took care of an older lady whose surname was Roderick and I've liked it ever since. I also like the nickname Roddy and met a family once whose youngest son was named Roddy.
• Siarl - as a Welsh form of Charles I rather like this.
• Sieffre - This is a Welsh form of Geoffrey and I love the sound see-free.
• Sior / Siors / Siorus - All of these are Welsh forms of George and I rather like these especially Siors.
• Taliesin - I love the spelling of this name but have a difficult time pronouncing it. 
• Tristan - This is getting quite popular but I really like it. So strong and handsome! 
• Tudor - I like this but of course it is mostly known as a royal surname so I wouldn't use it.
• Vaughan / Vaughn - I really like this name, it's so strong and handsome.

Welsh Girls Names

I have many favorite name styles and one of my favorites is Welsh names. I love their beautiful pronunciations, traditional Welsh spellings, interesting meanings and overall old-fashioned feel.

Here are some of my favorite Welsh girls names:

• Aderyn - means "bird", I love the spelling more than the sound.
• Angharad - means "more love"
• Anwen - This lovely name appropriately means "very beautiful".
• Bethan 
• Betrys 
• Bronwen / Bronwyn - I've actually met a girl with this name and it was really lovely.
• Caron - Meaning "to love", this is one of my favorites. It does sound like Karen but I love this meaning and it's lovely spelling. 
• Carys / Cerys - Meaning "love" this either my first or second favorite. It reminds me of Karis and I just love the Carys spelling! So pretty!
• Ceridwen 
• Delyth - This is probably my favorite Welsh girls name. It means "pretty" and I love the way it's pronounced. Just so lovely! 
• Dilys 
• Eirian - means "bright, beautiful"
• Eirlys - means "snowdrop"
• Eluned / Luned - I just discovered this name. It means "image, idol" but I really like the way it's pronounced, so pretty! Luned is a shorter form and it's pretty.
• Enid - I love this name even though it's one of the most common Welsh names. It means "soul" or "life".
• Glenice / Glenys - I actually really like this name, it's so pretty and I love the meaning "pure, clean, holy".
• Glynis - I think I like this name better then the similar Glenice / Glenys, it's really pretty! I love the meaning "valley" too.
• Gwenda - I first heard this name in a Miss Marple story and I just loved it. It means "white, fair, blessed" and think it's really pretty.
• Gwendolen / Gwendoline / Gwendolyn - I've always loved this name and it's variants. So pretty and regal sounding!
• Gwyneth - As much as I like Gwendolyn I like this name more and the nickname Gwyn. Lovely!
• Lewella / Llewella - I like this feminine version of Llewellyn.
• Mairwen - so pretty!
• Meredith - This is quite popular right now but I really like it.
• Morgan - Another common Welsh name but it's nice. I also like it for a boy.
• Morwen / Morwenna - I like it's meaning "maiden", and especially the beautiful sound of Morwenna! 
• Myfanwy - This one meaning "my woman" or "my love" is so sweet. I know a family who have a daughter named Myffwyn which is similar and I like that too.
• Owena - I love the name Owen and this is kind of nice as a feminine form.
• Rhiannon - I like the spelling and the meaning "great queen", I just wish it was easier to say!
• Rhonwen 
• Rhosyn - I love name meaning "rose", so pretty!
• Seren - I love that this name means "star", it's so lovely! 
• Siwan - I've just recently started liking this one. It's so pretty! 
• Winifred
